Event Details
Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments.

Posterchild for an open approach to learning, DIY electronics and micro-production, Arduino is made in Italy since 2005. It has become the reference platform in the world of interaction design, interactive art and is now taking over the web industry with projects like Adrian McEwen's Bubblino, Nicholas O'Leary's Ambient Orb, or the BakerTweet from Poke.

This one day hands-on workshop will focus on getting participants up to speed on the Arduino platform by taking them through setup, and hands on examples to get them started. All materials will be included, you only need your laptop.

This workshop will be lead by Nick Weldin, who has been teaching Arduino to beginners and advanced alike at Tinker.it! since 2007. What will be covered during the workshop?
